NAATI CCL Test

The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) is an Australian linguists and translations accreditation department or agency. What You Need To Know Before Taking the NAATI CCL Test

  • The foremost step before taking the test is Preparation. According to NAATI Study Material, one who wants to take the NAATI CCL test should prepare him for the test.
  • Proctor Exam will administer the appropriate pre-test procedures, including identification and room inspection. Please note that the setup may take up to 10-15 minutes. However, this will not influence your Test time. When you’ve finished, you’ll be requested to click on your test link. It would be best if you translated the meaning of each speaker’s words into the other language during the dialogues. So it would be best if you began responding as soon as the part is over. A 5-second delay is allowed without punishment.
  • The total test length is limited to 35 minutes. It won’t evaluate your performance once you’ve reached that point.
  • If you arrive late for your test, the test supervisor will determine whether or not you will admit. You will not test if the testing of other candidates has begun. You will not be refunded your test cost if you arrive late and cannot take the test or if you do not take the test at all.
  • Candidates expect to treat NAATI staff with courtesy and professionalism and obey all reasonable instructions throughout testing. Employees of NAATI will not be subject to abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour.
  • The candidate will have the opportunity to respond. Based on the findings of our inquiry, NAATI will review charges of cheating, the candidate’s answer, and make a judgment about the next steps.
  • All exam materials are and will remain the property of NAATI at all times. NAATI provides the test materials to each candidate solely to take the test. The Freedom of Information Act does not define NAATI as an agency. Hence it is not subject to it. As a result, under the Act, test materials are not available.
  • There may be a problem with technical equipment or testing procedures from time to time, and NAATI does not distribute copies of test materials or documents of applicant responses to those test materials. If for any reason we are not pleased with the original test conditions or processes, NAATI retains the right to conduct an alternate test. You will not charge a fee to retake the test in these circumstances.
